    In the Vineyard

There isn’t much to report on the vineyard right now, staff is eagerly waiting for the spring season so they can get outside and prune!

    In the Winery

This month has been a great transition from 2018 into 2019. January and February are typically our slower times at the winery, which gives us time to get caught up behind the scenes. Currently we are working on getting a new batch of Estate Blanc ready for bottling. In the meantime, we will be bottling our Whitewater Rush and Richmond Rouge next month! Speaking of next month…

We have a few events going on at the winery in February. On the 9th we have a Valentine’s Day Themed Sip and Paint crafting event. Bring your love, your best friend, your mom, or your sibling! $60 a “couple” or $30 per person. You don’t have to come with someone to paint. We will be offering this to anyone! Check out our Facebook page to find out how to RSVP. The following day, February 10th, we will be hosting our annual Valentine’s Day Inspired Wine & Dine. For $50 a person (plus tax), you will experience a five-course meal made by Tyler from The Black Sheep, and we will pair each course with our wine! Call to RSVP!

Delicious Fall Flavors – Food & Wine Pairings

October has started which means the fall season is in full swing. Pumpkin patches, apple picking, the crisp fall air and most of all fall food and wine pairings — what more could you want from a fall here in Wisconsin? This past weekend we had 50 amazing ladies join us for our Fall Blooms & Bouquets event where we did an in depth wine tasting of four of our best wines and paired them with our favorite fall flavors. Additionally these ladies created some amazing bouquets inside of some locally picked pumpkins, and let me tell you they looked...

Tomato, Basil + Parmesan Spaghetti paired with Cabernet Sauvignon

This recipe is one of our favorite (and somewhat unconventional) dishes to pair with our Reserve Selections Cabernet Sauvignon. Simple yet delicious flavors of the tomato sauce complimented with the fresh basil and shredded parmesan pairs compatibly with the rich flavors of the Cabernet. Follow the recipe below and try it for yourself! Tomato, Basil + Parmesan Spaghetti Yields 4 servings Ingredients 16 oz dry pasta 8 oz cherry tomatoes (halved) 1 onion (diced) 4 cloves garlic (chopped) 1/4 cup fresh basil (chopped) 4 1/2 cups water salt and pepper 1/2 cup parmesan cheese Directions Combine all ingredients (excluding parmesan)...

    What is a Picnic Platter?

    What is a Picnic Platter?

In many of our posts and all over our website you probably see us using the term “picnic platter” quite often.  We realize that people who come here often know well what it is but for those who don’t we should probably break down what exactly you get when you order one of our picnic platters.

    Wine Flights

    Wine Flights

A “wine flight” is another common term we use here at Staller Estate. It is one of our most popular options to get as you get to try 4 different wines all at once! A basic wine flight includes four, 1-ounce samples of our wine as well as a full glass of water.

    Easter Dusting 2016!!

Easter Dusting In Review Our third annual Easter dusting egg hunt was a success! Over 150 eggs were hidden throughout retail store, sunroom, and gazebo areas.  Each egg had a prize ranging from percentages of total purchases, free merchandise including food and wine, and free wine flights and picnic platters.  We had roughly 125 eggs found and many very happy guests!  Along with the egg hunt many guest stuck around to enjoy some wine and food on the beautiful day we had.  We hope that you will consider joining us for our future events and enjoy the Staller Estate experience!...
