Staller Estate Vineyard and Winery

Staller Estate's vision is to create a multisatisfying experience exemplifying our regional wines. 

Our vision was to build a family farm winery due, very simply, to our love for family, passion for farming and appreciation of the wine aesthetic. Both our educations are based in biological and chemical sciences. Our practical experience stems from our amateur winemaking and grape growing experience, in the process accomplishing numerous international awards. These experiences are also accompanied by significant industrial experience.

We hope that we will be able to provide a relaxing and educational wine experience for all of our guests at Staller Estate. We look forward to pouring you a new wine experience!!

Wendy can be found giving presentations about what goes on here at Staller Estate at various organizational meetings. She also tries to be at most of the wine tasting events that Staller Estate participate in.  We feel that having the winemaker represent our wines is the best way for people to get to know us. We are never too busy for anyone that wants to talk wine. So if you want to meet the winemaker and have her come and speak at one of your events please contact Wendy at wendy@stallerestate.com and she will work with you to make arrangements for your next meeting.

Grand Opening of New Walworth County Winery

Staller Estate Winery, one of Walworth County’s newest wineries, announces the Opening of its brand new Wine Production Facility and Tasting Room.

Staller Estate produces only grape wines from winter hardy varietals, which are unique to the region. They produce their wines from grapes grown in their vineyard near Whitewater Lake as well as from other growers in the region. They are also expanding their vineyard at the winery. Staller Estate has currently released five of their wines and plan to release four more wines in the coming months.

Starting seven years ago, Wendy and Joe planted their first vines, while they were both studying Biology and Chemistry at UW-Whitewater. Joe worked as an intern at Botham Winery and as the primary brewer at Randy’s Fun Hunter’s Brewery in Whitewater. Wendy conducted research and attended courses at the University of California-Davis where she attended courses in Enology. Joe and Wendy have received 23 international wine competition awards since 2003 for their grape wines. Together they have designed the tasting room at Staller Estate, to provide the public with a relaxing and educational wine experience.
